The Peacock's Paradise is about an Italian family reuniting in their house by the sea to celebrate a birthday. Everyone is there: Umberto, Vito, Adelina, Caterina, Manfredi, Joana, Isabella, Lucia, Grazia and Alma, who has brought her peacock, Paco. Nobody is really listening to anyone until Paco shakes the whole family. Everybody is then pushed to reflect on their true feelings, on what remains and what is gone forever. My poster depicts with a sense of nostalgia and authenticity both the family's intimacy and distance between its members.
