Célie Cadieux portrait by Nathan Ducamin

Hey there! I'm Célie.

I'm a freelance Art Director and Digital Artist. I design singular posters and visual content for branding and advertising.

Based in Paris, I freelance remotely for filmmakers, distributors, agencies and brands from North America and Europe. My work strives to touch people and to present new and exciting viewpoints. One could describe it as an ongoing exploration of common fictional representations. I love getting to the core of a story to encapsulate its unique vibe in an image that can be understood at a glance and appreciated even more when looked at up close. My eclectic style fits uniquely each project I design for. I work from concept to craft, delivering high-quality visual solutions.

My posters are now a part of The Margaret Herrick Library collections of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

When I'm not working, you can find me reading a good art book, messing around with 3D softwares or refining my fruit-themed Animal Crossing living room.

I'm open to job opportunities and commissions worldwide. Let's work together!

Other activities

I have taught Digital Culture at Sciences Po Paris since 2018 and Sciences Po Nancy since 2021. This course examines with distance and curiosity the economic, social, cultural, and political transformations that digital technology exerts on our societies. More information here.

I've been invited as a lecturer to teach social media strategy at École Estienne in Paris annually since 2021 and web basics at Eugénie Cotton School in Montreuil in 2021.

Background checking

I received both an Advanced Technician Diploma in Graphic Design and a Master of Communication Strategy from École Estienne, followed by a Master in Marketing, Branding and Advertising from La Sorbonne CELSA. I worked in advertising agencies both in France and the United States before opening my own independent design practice in 2019.
