This movie beautifully depicts the struggle to belong that many transgender people face, and reminds us that it is a universal matter through the love story of Paul and Wye. My composition evokes this theme while showing the main tension of the film. Paul finally finds a person with whom he belongs, a place where he fits, but will he be able to let go of the past to embrace it? I used digital painting to bring the scene to life.
